Ceramic tiles are non-porcelain tiles that are generally made from red or white clay which is then coated with a durable glaze which accounts for the tile’s colour and pattern. Ceramic tiles can be used for both wall and floor applications but are usually softer than porcelain tiles making them better suited to light traffic areas. They are a good choice for kitchens and bathrooms because they are easy to clean.
